Flex Rabanyan, Vuzu’s “The Hustle” show winner turned down the record deal from Vth Season that he won as part as the show’s prize. According to Times Live, the rapper doesn’t see the value of having a record label when he can make it on his own. The season two “The Hustle” winner told Times Live reporter, TshisaLIVE “They were shocked but couldn’t say much. I had made my decision. To be quite honest, I didn’t feel like there was anything to gain from signing the deal,”.
He continued “I have decided that being independent is the only way to handle my career. It means that I will have to work on my own deals for distribution and publishing but at the end of the day I am the boss and there’s a lot of freedom in that,”. It really does seem like he turned down the deal which leaves some questions hanging. Anyways, maybe Joshua The I AM will get the deal as the runner-up.
